We planned to go the street fair here in town, but it sure was a hot one in the afternoon. In the end, Milan really needed a nap, so Mzee and I ventured out alone. It turned out just as well, as it was so hot. There were lots of vendors set up and lots of inflatable activities for the kids as well as a few other small rides and a car show. Mzee's first activity was this huge race care slide. The thing was right out in the sun and I'm sure very hot, but he loved climbing the ladder to the top and sliding down.
Below is the famous helicopter ride that is present at all local kids events. Mzee loved it. Although I will say, it has now seat belts or any type of restraint, so it definitely shows its age.
Mzee had a great time in this inflatable obstacle course!
Such a great time in fact that afterwards, he was ready for a slice of pizza!
Mzee loved posing next to this old car. Any time he sees a really nice car, he usually says, "Mommy, when I get big, I'll buy you a car like that!"
And when he said that in front of this Mercedes,
I told him I'd be happy to have a car like that some day...
He even said it in front of this car, which I could do without.
If he bought it for me, though, I'm sure I would love it.
Mzee enjoying his first Italian Ice. They are very popular here, and his friend Pino from the local pizza shop we frequent was selling them outside his shop, so Mzee had to have one!
Mzee posing with his Italian Ice!! "Cheeeeese"
